You should check out this software: https://github.com/01BTC10/dogecoin-pywallet I think there's a way to scan the usb drive for any deleted wallet.dat files, or corrupted. They have an example here, too, on how to do it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34028.600 Good luck!

coinbin
Javascript Bitcoin Wallet. Supports Multisig, Stealth, HD, SegWit, Bech32, Time Locked Addresses, RBF and more!
It's not necessarily Doge's fault, or maybe it is, I think the network experiencing a lot of traffic and lots of transactions. It's possible to run the coinb.in code locally, see their https://github.com/OutCast3k/coinbin. That's what I did. But I have a computer science background, so I was able to verify that their code looks clean and safe. but I understand you frustration. I'm currently syncing Dogecoin Core, and it has the chain synced up to Jan 5th, so almost there, but estimates another 3 days.
