Yes, right on point! 1. With Nextcloud, you need a 3rd party provider to sign-up and access. With us, you can directly sign-up and start using Linshare. 2. Nextcloud doesn't have paid personal and business accounts for SaaS/Cloud hosted users. They target self-hosted users mainly. (Owncloud has cloud-hosted plans but they are 4X more expensive than us!) 3. Nextcloud hub is more of a competitor for our cloud collaboration product Twake (https://twake.app/) 4. That being said, we respect what Nextcloud does and have much to learn from them. Our service team supports Nextcloud implementations as well, we believe in the Open-Source community and support each other!
You should have a look into photoprism you can turn on read only mode so photoprism can reads photos directly from your nextcloud instance and provide facial recognition and most of google photo features
