So for your use case of running just 1 vps/vm that will only be running mt5 as a workload, a standard run of the mill VPS is what you should be looking at. A full blown Azure virtual desktop environment is very overkill and has other backend requirements like azure active directory that don't make any sense for this type of thing. So to keep things easy with azure you can look at the standard "virtual machines" or with amazon you can look at EC2.
