Somewhat of a noob question - but how do people amass this much of a collection? Is there something which lets them download stuff on the fly or do they have terabytes of film + tv shows stored?

  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • rclone

"rsync for cloud storage" - Google Drive, S3, Dropbox, Backblaze B2, One Drive, Swift, Hubic, Wasabi, Google Cloud Storage, Yandex Files

  • I don't; but as u/Arthvpatel mentioned, google drive/cloud can be used. I know of rclone if you're searching for a solution but you'll want to ensure whatever directory you map the cache data to is larger than your largest file (e.g. if you have a 5 GB media file it'll be lots easier if you don't have the cache dir. mapped to 4 gigs of ram)... That said, be cautious of your data security.

  • Ombi

Want a Movie or TV Show on Plex/Emby/Jellyfin? Use Ombi!

  • The only difference I made is that I got Ombi as the front head to allow people to view a "nicer" UI look to go through looking for whatever they want and that connects to Sonarr and Radarr to communicate getting the media.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
