Another fun, easy, cheap, and performant upgrade you can use is the Jyers version of the Marlin firmware (GitHub link). Depending on how savvy you are as a programmer and how familiar you are/want to become with the Marlin source code you could do this all yourself, but the Jyers firmware does it all for you and adds some cool features like additional measuring points for the CR/BL Touch and their clones, mesh bed leveling, Unified Bed Leveling, and a high-speed mode for the CR/BL Touch and their clones. I personally use the E3V2-UBL-BLTouch-10x10-HS-v4.2.2-v2.0.1 version (I have a 4.2.2 motherboard), and I've been really happy with it. Note that there are now at least three versions of the Ender 3 v2's motherboard, and the only way to figure out what version you have is to look directly at the board. Make sure you get the right firmware (stock from Creality or modded from a third party like Jyers) for your specific board version.
