Tailwind and Tailwind UI for Flutter

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/FlutterDev

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • pub-dev

    The pub.dev website

I wanted to gauge interest before I committed too much effort to this. That's why I haven't published to pub.dev. So hopefully it won't go abandoned, but if so, if it's highly depended on, others can fork the effort like with Aqueduct. Because competition is always better. Most Flutter apps almost exclusively use Material components. Variety is always welcome. Why did Adam and Steve create Tailwind UI when there was already Bootstrap and Bulma? The Material components aren't barebones, but Flutter is as barebones as CSS. Both Flutter and the browser rendering engine use Skia.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • Tailwind CSS

A utility-first CSS framework for rapid UI development.

For anyone who isn't familiar, these are both products from Tailwind Labs: Tailwind (https://tailwindcss.com) is a utility-first and one of the most popular CSS frameworks. Tailwind UI (https://tailwindui.com) is a commercial suite of UI components built with Tailwind.
