    The Go programming language

Dispise the language seems a bit harsh, I just think the Go community makes a lot of weird design decisions. For the longest time generics and the try function were super obvious ways to improve the language but the community was hell bent against improving the language to maintain simplicity.

    Go Project Design Documents

Do you work at Google? How do you know they're "disingenuous"? AFAICT as an outsider for the past several years Ian Lance Taylor and Robert Griesemer have been noodling away on generics in between doing other work with the expectation that it would eventually land, but that there was no rush. It's been pretty much inevitable since 2016 and was being strongly considered before then: https://github.com/golang/proposal/blob/master/design/15292-generics.md It's probably fair to guess from the outside that Rob Pike was against generics, but Rob Pike is a grumpy old man and he's against everything. :-)

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • fundable-packaging-improvements

Packaging improvements that could be funded

  • gotchas

    Go gotchas, surprises, puzzles.
