Installing Eclipse on macOS big sur with AdoptOpenJDK 16. Eclipse won't open. I

    I can’t specifically help with this Eclipse error, so I can only add: • The error message mentions temurin, not AdoptOpenJdk, maybe that’s a hint? • Why not use JDK 17 instead? It’s the latest LTS. • I don’t know why you specifically want to use Eclipse, so I’m happy to recommend using IntelliJ (Community edition is free) or Visual Studio Code instead
