    The problem is that, even years into the Matrix communities' lifespan there does not seem to be a good solution for importing chat histories prior to bridging. The closest I have found, is this https://github.com/aspacca/slack-matrix-importer and even that requires a lot of manual configuration (for essentially puppetting accounts, not on matrix)
