  • synology-wireguard

WireGuard support for some Synology NAS drives

  • I could also have configured the remote nas to connect to my own vpn server (running rapsbian on a raspberry pi using https://pivpn.io vpn server whichboffers ipenvpn or wireguard) but as I already switched from openvpn (which synology supports natively) to wireguard, that option wasn't easily possible (might maybe also have a docker solution or via https://github.com/runfalk/synology-wireguard which also deals with having to start things manually on dsm7 as no longer 3rd party services are allowed to be started), hence I stayed with Zerotier.

  • pivpn

The Simplest VPN installer, designed for Raspberry Pi
