Spice up your old #Linux commands

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/commandline

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • lsd

    The next gen ls command

    https://github.com/Peltoche/lsd is even better than exa. lsd has icons! The only thing missing compared to exa is git integration, but that tends to slow down the command, so I think it is actually an improvement.

  • bottom

    Yet another cross-platform graphical process/system monitor.

  • WorkOS

    The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • tiptop

    :desktop_computer: Command-line system monitoring

    htop -> tiptop

  • autojump

    A cd command that learns - easily navigate directories from the command line

    Not entirely a replacement, but i use autojump to complement cd
