Something like https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode but you have to have a terminal which supports it (so, no gnome-terminal and no alacritty).
You can try a fork of Ubuntu Mono with ligatures. I think there are multiple options, including this one. Personally I switched from Ubuntu Mono to Fira Code to get ligatures.
Font: I use the Nerd-patched version of JetBrains Mono Regular from Nerd Fonts. This font is gorgeous and readable. The Nerd-patched version is nice to get extra symbols for Powerline and other goodies.
Terminal: I use the Kitty terminal, and in kitty.conf make the settings
