https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases is the loader, addable directly to the top level game directory (if you later want to remove it, deleting these files is entirely fine at any point as long as the game isn't running). Adding this alone gets you a rudimentary output log in the BepInEx folder.

If that's not enough, downloading MirrorInternalLogs from https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx.Debug/releases/tag/r9 and putting it into the BepInEx/patchers folder should give a better output log that lists any exceptions that might be happening.
