SurveyJS

Set up a Plex server and stream (or download) your books to your phone using Prologue (iOS app). I used this guide, and I have never been happier with my audiobook experience. Prologue's interface is beautiful and easy to navigate. It show off book covers really nicely, and even includes book descriptions, as well as author pictures and bios which are populated automatically if you follow the guide linked (and your files are correctly tagged).
A solution I've been working through slowly is to use a project called calibre-web -- Calibre-web is intended to be a web-based version of the desktop calibre app which is for ebooks, but someone added support for single-file audiobooks to it which is *awesome*.
