I still have few ideas to implement like new input for mongo change streams then make some abstraction to other databases (to explore if we could serve as lightweight alternative to https://debezium.io/ project). Anyone finds that idea interesting and would like to help or at least try it when it's ready?

Under the hood, it wraps calls into either Sarama or https://github.com/twmb/franz-go.
