Hard to explain, but it's a feature which keeps expired requests in the cache and sets a TTL of 1 so the client gets faster requests. If the clients fails to connect, the TTL is 1, so it will get a new request and then connect. Here's a link to the Adguard issue about it: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardHome/issues/2145
