Has anyone had a look into aether? Might be worth a try
I figured the best open and uncensorable alternative to reddit would be a Lemmy instance hosted on web3 using IPFS (or Fleek.co) by some wrinkle brained developer apes. It would be easy enough to just start one on Lemmy.ml, the main instance of Lemmy, but then you're still on someone else's server subject to their whims.
Been thinking about this since the second great ape migration. Can't really trust a centralized service like Discord to not censor or shut down a community, so the most direct open alternative I could think of would be a community on Element but its more of a chat room than a discussion board.
