powershell-phpmanager
A PowerShell module to install/update PHP, PHP extensions and Composer on Windows
Installing PHP on Windows is a bit annoying. https://github.com/mlocati/powershell-phpmanager helps. Many PHP 8.1 extensions are still missing though. I guess you could just not install a local PHP version at all and exclusively work inside of containers, but again, annoying.

wslg
Enabling the Windows Subsystem for Linux to include support for Wayland and X server related scenarios
Now, another thing to have in mind is that if you go the route to use Windows 11, you also have access to WSLg, which allows you to use Linux apps on Windows. It's still quite early so it may not be perfect, but if you ever find yourself in a situation where you want to run browser tests and you don't want to run it headless to see what's happening, then this is a potential way to do that.
