  • kakoune.el

A very simple simulation of the kakoune editor inside of emacs.

  • kakoune.el: https://github.com/jmorag/kakoune.el

  • things.el

    Extensions to thingatpt.el

  • things.el: https://github.com/noctuid/things.el

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • qmk_firmware

Open-source keyboard firmware for Atmel AVR and Arm USB families

  • They also have a more expensive model which you can program with QMK firmware.

  • kmonad

    An advanced keyboard manager

  • It wasn't something I thought about beforehand, but there is always Kmonad or other frameworks for remapping keys in software. The only limitation would be that duplicate modifier keys on the same side of the keyboard share the same scancodes. I.e. the middle Ctrl and the little Ctrl at the bottom-left corner each send the same scancode for "LeftCtrl", but the little Ctrl key on the right side sends "RightCtrl", so it would be possible to remap that one without affecting the others. (Supposedly you can program this model through a Windows app, but I don't know how much that can do or if it the settings would persist after plugging back into my Linux box.)

  • key-chord

Map pairs of simultaneously pressed keys to commands

  • For tinkering and adding your own tweaks, key-chord and general.el are both very useful.

  • general.el

More convenient key definitions in emacs

  • For tinkering and adding your own tweaks, key-chord and general.el are both very useful.
