  • picom

A lightweight compositor for X11 (previously a compton fork) (by jonaburg)

  • I've installed the jonaburg fork of picom and am using the sample config file that came with it. I made no edits aside from setting to the opacity of Alacritty to 0.8 and editing the blur method and blur strength. Despite my edits, I cannot get the dual_kawase blur to show up when killing picom and starting it anew with the --experimental-backends flag.

  • compton

Discontinued A compositor for X11, active fork. [Moved to: https://github.com/sdhand/picom] (by sdhand)

  • # requires: https://github.com/sdhand/compton or https://github.com/jonaburg/picom

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • # requires: https://github.com/ibhagwan/picom

  • maim

maim (make image) takes screenshots of your desktop. It has options to take only a region, and relies on slop to query for regions. maim is supposed to be an improved scrot.
