WorkOS

Having a tool that can scan and index a shared folder would be amazing, and it being accessible from a web browser would also be great, because then I could search from any one of my several devices. The closest thing I have found was sist2. The demo seems to be what I need, but I couldn't seem to get it to run with docker. There's a direct install method, but I haven't tried that yet.
The awesome selfhosted list has a category for Archiving and Digital Preservation. There I saw Archivematica which supposedly allows ingesting a lot of different file formats and has included search.
Regarding file searching using web interface I started https://github.com/Ogefest/filehunter and I have plans to create web search engine for local/webdav/s3/ftp files.
I installed FileRun recently and that might get you close. It's fast and the search is pretty good as it can integrate Apache Tika, I like the OnlyOffice integration as well. It's closed-source, which isn't great for me, but you get 3 accounts without having to pay.
