That's fine, I don't personally want to remove await. I've written an RFC on this subject in the past (https://github.com/rust-lang/rfcs/issues/814), which (as written) won't apply cleanly to current Rust. That design benefited quite a bit from discussion with the community, this is an attempt to participate in the conversation again.
