What makes Svelte special besides Next.js or Remix?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/sveltejs

  • SurveyJS - Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SvelteKit

    web development, streamlined (by sveltejs)

Incidentally, this also makes svelte very viable for SSR. Svelte can compile directly to concatenated HTML strings in SSR mode rather than making the server run render functions. Both Next and Remix are great solutions for building webapps, some offering new technologies, but many of the features you specifically mention in your post are already available in svelte's own application framework, SvelteKit, which is more or less equivalent to Next.js in featureset (edge functions are already PRed) and exceeds it's performance as of right now. As for Remix, i'm not entirely familliar with the tech behind it, so it'll be interesting to see what it has to offer.

  • SurveyJS
