  • For me they're all really much of a muchness. It all just depends on how you consume your content and what's convenient for you. By how you get your content i mean do you primarily stream on your laptop via netflix/hulu/disney+? do you torrent download? Do you use a media player (e.g. amazon fire stick)? Do you use software like Popcorn Time or KODI? Do you use websites like Look Movie?

  • LibreELEC.tv

    Just enough OS for KODI

  • That's the basic idea, and you can see how it is a setup you could spend $20 or $2000 and very little time or many hours on on depending on how far you want to go (custom mini-PC, custom server-build, fully automated setup). If it sounds like something you're interested in, I would start with Kodi and Libreelec to learn more.
