  • I was after a seed with huge bodies of water to extend the experience of sailing in Valheim upon starting with a small body of land upon spawning. Using vanilla settings I tried vigorously to replicate something that could shape this experience with some notable potential and influence with u/FinalFinalCountdown's meadow island seed - which doesn't get me wrong was incredibly difficult but still, I felt it lacked in a prolonged travel requirement on water. I wanted something more, so I did my homework and came across u/billwoo'sBetter Continents mod, and upon tweaking the configuration and testing several dozen seeds with each setting change to find something optimal for such desire - I finally found something! This seed spawns you into a small thin landmass in the center of the map, there are multiple depleted houses and animal spawns on the island, it might even be too concentrated because of how small the island is but it's enough resources to get off the island and explore the vast empty ocean around you. I'm coupling this playthrough with u/lokivalheim's awesome first-person mod, below you can find the exact configuration to generate this map with BetterContients and the seed itself.
