Sorry but no, Libreddit doesn't currently support logging into Reddit. The goal of the project is to provide a tool to browse Reddit privately rather than interact with it privately. Though, using cookies, users can still subscribe to subreddits, follow users, and import their subscriptions from Reddit.
Interesting, thanks for letting me know. I had believed that repo was still accurate because they linked to it in their API rules wiki. I strongly doubt Reddit would take legal action considering they haven't done so against any other service scraping the site (1, 2, 3) but I'll definitely write to them.
