You could start by learning about the A+ cert and seeing if you find your interest. Then either additional certs or a degree. I'm currently interested in developing. I just started The Odin Project https://www.theodinproject.com/ . I'm still debating whether or not go just do the coding work and build a resume or try to go back to school. I completed The Google IT Support Professional Course through Coursera. It was a good course but I don't feel like it is a job ready course. More for those that have little computer specific knowledge to get a broad understanding.
