A 3rd way to go would be Raspibolt and Raspiblitz. Here you would learn a lot/the most (Linux stuff in the first place) because many things (setup/running/maintaining) had to be done manually. I would consider them being more for tech-savy advanced users.

umbrel
A beautiful home server OS for self-hosting with an app store. Buy a pre-built Umbrel Home with umbrelOS, or install on a Raspberry Pi 4, Pi 5, any Ubuntu/Debian system, or a VPS.
Out of interest and to follow their development I am also running an Umbrel Node. The big advantge is the extremely easy setup. The main disadvantages is their distribution/license model, since you're not allowed to change the software regarding to your wishes/needs. Simply put, they "dictate" the fullnode rules anyone with Umbrel has to follow, which is actually against the core idea of Bitcoin, namely being part of the overall consensus finding, where you express your "vote" by running a certain fullnode ruleset. Nevertheless until now Umbrel went for all the major directions I would have also taken. But as I mentioned, I am mainly running and relying on MyNodeBTC, so once Umrel turned "crazy" I would simply shut it down and that's it. Nevertheless. For setting up a first fullnode it might otherwise be a good way to go.
