For ‘software archeology’ I think you are pointing out a general issue and for some of this stuff it’ll be near to impossible to ‘recreate’. It’ll become more of an issue with the advent of cloud only solutions (which we see the transition to as of today). As written old Mac version is possibly the closest you can get.
