    Rainmeter skin

Aesthetic-wise I like things that look like this one and I'm currently using it as my time & date skin.

  • WebNowPlaying

Discontinued A NowPlaying like plugin for rainmeter built for getting music info from websites

Webnowplaying plugin: While not technically an official part of rainmeter, it's so ubiquitous it might as well be. This plugin allows support for the online version of spotify, along with other online sites. It also provides more functionality, but for it to work you need to install a browser extension as well. Note: this only works with the online version of spotify, not the app. Unfortunately though, the spotify site has been updated recently and somewhat broken things. So, while this is a great option, it's might be best to wait if the online route is the one you want to take.

  • SurveyJS

Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App. With SurveyJS form UI libraries, you can build and style forms in a fully-integrated drag & drop form builder, render them in your JS app, and store form submission data in any backend, inc. PHP, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.

  • WebNowPlaying-BrowserExtension

Discontinued The extension to go along with the WebNowPlaying plugin for Rainmeter

  • spicetify-cli

Command-line tool to customize Spotify client. Supports Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

You will undoubtedly be directed to spicetify-cli at some point when looking into spotify and music skins. It allows you to customize the spotify app with various themes and extensions. One of those extensions is webnowplaying.js, which allows it to connect with the webnowplaying plugin mentioned above. Now, I've never used or needed to use spicetify to get spotify to work with rainmeter, but some people swear "it's the only thing that works" (likely due to user error, but that's a different matter lol). But, given that spicetify can have its own issues (it is in need of an update right now as well and people have had to downgrade spotify to get it to work) and also the new issue with webnowplaying mentioned above, I don't really think that would be a good route to take at this particular moment. But, if you're interested, you can check out their sub here: r/spicetify.
