Something that confuses me is that the source code seems to be for a completely static site but Wappalyzer detects Ruby on Rails? If you want to implement community submissions, would you not need a backend? If rails really is part of your tech stack, I honestly wouldn't mind contributing what I can. I work as a backend rails developer irl and also built the /r/anime Awards website (which is in Vue/Node) though I have much less time these days because of my job.
