There's Guilded, Revolt and you could host a Matrix server (either selfhosting it, or by paying another company to do so). I ordered the alternatives in order of familarity (UX/feature wise) AFAIK about them. Guilded's the most like Discord, while Revolt has a bridge so you could migrate easier, and Matrix's just full on freedom and control regarding privacy and such.
Heads up about Matrix, there is also Element which is I believe "more known than Matrix", but Element is a Matrix client that's very user friendly.
