  • flameshot

Powerful yet simple to use screenshot software :desktop_computer: :camera_flash:

Definitely my favorite screen shot tool, even on Windows. Unfortunately, it has problems with fractional scaling that won't be fixed until Qt6 is released. I've just resorted to turning off fractional scaling, and scaling up fonts.

  • ksnip

ksnip the cross-platform screenshot and annotation tool

I used to use Flameshot, but then switched to ksnip due to some annoying bugs I had experienced. Not sure whether those still exist nowadays, but I kind of like that with ksnip you get a window which remembers all your recent screenshots.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • greenshot

Greenshot for Windows - Report bugs & features go here: https://greenshot.atlassian.net or look for information on:

Looks like a definite leg up over snipping tool thanks to immediate image editing. More like a replacement for the Windows-only Greenshot which is outstanding for quickly making documentation for all the chumbawumbas who "can't" read documentation without pictures.

  • rofi-screenshot

Use rofi and ffcast to perform various types of screenshots and screen captures
