I've just installed a simple PoC Kubernetes cluster on my home lab two-host vSphere cluster using Tanzu Community Edition by following the instructions from tanzucommunityedition.io. While it seems to work just fine I don't see how/if is it that much different than just spinning up few VMs and using one of the other popular Kubernetes distributions. Apart from a bit of help from the installer that is aware of the vSphere infrastructure, I can't see any real deep integration after the whole thing is up and running.
