openvpn-install
Set up your own OpenVPN server on Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS or Arch Linux. (by angristan)
Algo is fine, but personally, I prefer the https://github.com/angristan/wireguard-install and https://github.com/angristan/openvpn-install. Yeah yeah OpenVPN is ancient, but there are networks where WireGuard can't run out of the box and OpenVPN just works. I also like how the NAT IPv6 support allows me to get IPv6 seamlessly on IPv4-only ISP. Anyone living in a civilized country may not care about those, but I do.
Another use case is when the ISP actively tries to block VPN, where https://getoutline.org/ is simple enough to configure. If it got blocked too, try https://getoutline.org/
