I would like some confirmation that, in case I split my mnemonic using the hex seed key, I can still recover it using the eth2.0-deposit-cli.
The way I'm using to retrieve the "master-secret" is to put it in an offline version of IanColemanBip39.
There is this standard, SLIP-39, that apparently allows just that and it even has some reference implementations.
However, the trezor reference implementation only allows to be given an existing secret in the form of hexadecimal seed key and not the actual mnemonic, as provided.
