use a program called CKAN to install the mods for you (https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/releases/download/v1.30.4/ckan.exe) , it just has a up-to-date list of pretty much all mods for KSP, it downloads it all for you, it puts everything in the right place, it makes sure that the correct dependencies are there and that there are no conflicts. I cannot recommend it enough
