  • cgscript

  • The thing that annoys me about golang is startup time. Sure, it's fast, but when I write my scripts `go run` compiles the script for half a second just for it to run for literally 7ms. It annoyed me, and I've created cgscript which caches the compiled executable that `go build` produces so that you won't have to recompile your scripts every time you run them.

  • yaegi

Yaegi is Another Elegant Go Interpreter

  • Then use yaegi or compile the executable once and then just use the binary. Your script is basically just an automated version of that.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
