  • yt-dlp

A youtube-dl fork with additional features and fixes

I use yt-dlp (a fork of now-abandoned youtube-dl with a huge amount of new fixes and bugfixes). I keep a bash script that I run every few days to run a few yt-dlp commands (one for music, one for videos, etc when different settings are needed). Whenever I want to archive a channel I add it to the corresponding channels.txt called with --batch-file. I use the --download-archive feature so it remembers which videos were already downloaded, and a custom -o template to keep each channel in a separate folder.
