media-downloader
Media Downloader is a Qt/C++ front end to yt-dlp, youtube-dl, gallery-dl, lux, you-get, svtplay-dl, aria2c, wget and safari books..
I saw the github page had an exe, which I figured was for people of my skill level but when I ran it and tried to type something it closed and then refused to stay open any time I tried to open it again. Suffice to say, I am very frustrated and confused.
There’s also YouTube-dlg, which is way easier if you don’t know commands. It’s available here. Hope that helps. You just have to launch the exe and add a link/playlist/channel and choose where to save, and it should handle everything else. There’s plenty of extra options I’d recommend using, like switching to yt-dlp core in its settings as well as choosing to download subtitles and thumbnails (my personal preference) but everyone likes it done differently. If you want to learn more or pick a different GUI just check the wiki on this sub.
If i can recommend my own GUI, then i recommend Media Downloader.
