I'm working on an R package to access ESPN league data. Here is a pre-release version (1.9.0) if anybody is interested in help kicking the tires.

  • GitHub: https://github.com/kiernann/fflr

  • remotes

Install R packages from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, git, svn repositories, URLs (by r-lib)

  • Once you have R, you can install the remotes package and use the install_github() function to install my package!

  • libcurl

A command line tool and library for transferring data with URL syntax, supporting DICT, FILE, FTP, FTPS, GOPHER, GOPHERS, HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, IMAPS, LDAP, LDAPS, MQTT, POP3, POP3S, RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, SCP, SFTP, SMB, SMBS, SMTP, SMTPS, TELNET, TFTP, WS and WSS. libcurl offers a myriad of powerful features

  • If you right click on that request you should be able to "copy as cURL", which is command line tool that lets you replicate HTTP requests. For a public league, all you need is the URL but for a private league there will be a dozen secure cookies that identify your browser, your account, etc.

  • yahoo-fantasy-sports-api

NodeJS wrapper for the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports API

  • Yahoo's fantasy API isn't the best but this project on github uses node.js rather than using R.
