After spending two days trying to figure out image embeds via webhooks (spoiler, they aren’t available in v8 alerts), I’m working on a concept to use webhook to receive webhooks from Grafana, parse them, and then call matrix-commander to post the alerts into Matrix.

I’m trying to figure out a solution to get alerts into Matrix.

I’ve also tried grafana-forwarder, but it doesn’t seem to properly handle the v8 webhook syntax (unless I’m missing something), and also doesn’t support images (due to Grafana not supporting attaching them).
