  • wezterm

A GPU-accelerated cross-platform terminal emulator and multiplexer written by @wez and implemented in Rust

  • A year ago it's been run, and indeed a few things were missing. A good load of commits fixed most if not all of them! https://github.com/wez/wezterm/issues/133

  • zutty

Discontinued X terminal emulator rendering through OpenGL ES Compute Shaders

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • termite

Discontinued Termite is obsoleted by Alacritty. Termite was a keyboard-centric VTE-based terminal, aimed at use within a window manager with tiling and/or tabbing support.

  • alacritty

    A cross-platform, OpenGL terminal emulator.

  • I switched from alacritty to kitty after using alacrotty for a few months. Alacritty has serious porformance issue. Especially this one (https://github.com/alacritty/alacritty/issues/2876)

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
