Plasma doesn't come with gesture support out of the box yet, at least on X11 (not sure about Wayland). Touchegg is a really useful software that can enable gesture support really well. After you install it, you can use the touchegg config file from this repo as a good starting point.

If you like window tiling, Khronkite is a really good Kwin script that allows dwm like tiling in KDE plasma. I've never used a proper tiling wm before myself but I do like using this script and it works well for me.
If you want multiple panels in a Unity like layout, I found it easier to do that with latte dock than with the builtin panels. I also like using this Plasma applet to display window title in a plasma/latte panel.
