Plugging my own project here, but you may want to look at Kweb, it's a lightweight server-side web framework built on Ktor. It doesn't lock you into any particular CSS framework, but people report that it works nicely with Tailwind. The key idea is to make the server-browser separation mostly invisible to the developer.
