consul
Consul is a distributed, highly available, and data center aware solution to connect and configure applications across dynamic, distributed infrastructure.

For service mesh, Consul uses Envoy to provide L4 and L7 load balancing for both east-west (sidecar proxy) and north-south (ingress) traffic. Consul supports configuring a number of Envoy’s load balancing algorithms such as round robin, least request, ring hash, maglev, etc (see Load Balancing Services in Consul Service Mesh with Envoy for a tutorial).
