  This is the public roadmap for AWS container services (ECS, ECR, Fargate, and EKS).

  

Is working with ECR as a developer PITA or is it pleasant? Are you happy with ECR as Ops or are you missing self hosted Docker Registry? Is AWS SSO + IAM enough to conveniently manage authorization? How good/useful is container image scanning? Any other rants and raves? Opinions from all perspectives are welcome, especially if you have a centralised ECR in a larger organisation. Issues like this one gave me concerns, hence I posted this opinion-based question.
