Sciter: the Embeddable HTML/CSS/JS engine for modern UI development

I had Sciter prototype at that moment - used as self-teaching tool to understand how browsers work.
Since then I am almost solo (one or two contractors sometimes) on the project. ~10 years of non-disturbed (literally) flight.

I'm a Python noob. I want to learn a GUI that's not too hard to use, is reliable, functional, and cross platform. I've played with TkInter but it's ugly. Kivy looks pretty, pyqt looks alright. Which one should I pick? Any of them missing from this list?
