eduarbio15 is essentially right, the language support isn't directly through lunarvim, it's through the LSP servers (for code completion, diagnostics, etc.), and treesitter (for nice highlighting and some other stuff). So if your language is supported by lspinstall (and unless you're programming in like malbolge or something, this should be a safe bet), then you're good to go.
