How do I prevent an app from updating? I want to keep the old version, but Google just keeps repeatedly deleting it. Disabling auto-update in the store does not work.

  • diyHue

    Main diyHue software repo

So we run diyHue. It's a Hue hub emulator that exposes everything within Home Assistant (and plenty of other sources) as a fake Hue API that the app will happily think is a real hub. We even have a LIFX bulb in the Hue app, some Sonoff relays showing as lights in the Hue app, etc. And best of all with the normal Hue hub you're only limited to 50 bulbs (due to a now outdated Zigbee radio in the hub), so if you want to run a setup with 70+ like we have, you need two hubs. And if you want two hubs you have to manually switch between them in the app. But diyHue lets you expose as many bulbs as you want as a single hub.
